Sport & exercise are for everyone... aren’t they? Society has probably led us to believe that women and sport & exercise don’t mix. But with more women participating in sport in unprecedented numbers our understanding on how to optimise not only women's performance but health and well-being must also increase! However - generally speaking - we are still uncomfortable in talking openly about female-specific factors including the menstrual cycle, hormonal contraceptives, breast health, pelvic-floor health, pregnancy and the menopause. This podcast is here to explore and openly discuss all the topics surrounding women which have previously gone under the radar in sport & exercise.
